Draft Two Complete

The Glimmerlings is clocking in at 52,000 words. That's about average for a YA or MG novel.

I'm sending a copy out to an editor in the UK who runs an editorial service. He's also an agent, but keeps the two businesses separate. He comes with good recommendations and is well known in the field. It will be my first critique from a "professional."

I feel pretty good about where the book is right now. I've fixed some things in the structure of the story and tweaked a few things here and there. So, I'm feeling pretty good.

The next big challenge will be The Query Letter, which is challenging. I have one written already but I think it's kind of generic. So onward!
