Hunger Games

Here's our first long teaser for the Hunger Games. Check it out here.

I think it looks good, but I always imagined the main characters as younger.

I hope this turns out well and they complete the series. I was disappointed in the treatment that His Dark Materials/The Golden Compass got. What a tragedy.

But there will always be the books that spawned these films in the first place.

(I want to see a drunk Woody Harrelson as Haymitch!)

I am really looking forward to this movie! LOVED the trailer too. It looks like they may do the books justice...we'll see.

I haven't read any of the books. Maybe I won't bother till I've seen the movie??

Trisha,

Please read the books. I don't know what your tastes are in fiction, but the Hunger Games trilogy is one of the best series in recent memory.

Well, maybe that's too much praise, but at least take a look. Hollywood has to please just about everyone in their adaptations, and I believe that can be a detriment.

It's a lot more rewarding, in my opinion, to let the world an author creates come alive through your own imagination, rather than a filmmakers.

Ah, Woody Harrelson would be perfect! I can't wait to see this movie. Like you, I hope the movie does the story justice.
