Thanks so much to Maeve Frazier, Angela Orlowski-Peart and Elizabeth Varadan aka Mrs. Seraphina.
Applause!
Now I am supposed to do this:
• Thank the person who gave me the award and link back to them
• Share seven completely random things about myself
• Pass the award on to fifteen worthy bloggers
Well, I promise to think about those seven things and post them soon. I'll have to dig deep for it, but once I commit, I'm sure it won't be too hard. (It's all about what you want to reveal, eh?)
One of my seven random things is that I was obsessed with Tolkien as a kid and can still recite a bunch of Elvish and passages from the Lord of the Rings. (God, how geeky is that?)

Drat! I wanted to give you an award. :( Congrats, anyway!
Mina, thanks! I'll take it!
What can you say in Elvish?!?!?
LOL. Just had to ask didn't you Megan?
Ok, hold on, let me find my Nerd Hat...
Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo.
(A star shines upon the hour of our meeting.)
A poem:
A Elbereth Gilthoniel,
silivren penna mÃriel
o menel aglar elenath...
That is the beginning of an Elvish hymn to deity.
It's too long, but if you go to Youtube you'll find a bunch of people who recite it, probably even the original recording of Tolkien.
When I was kid I picked up a recording of Tolkien reading his work and reciting poems in Elvish. I must have listened it to a thousand times. To this day, I still remember them.
There is a poem called Errantry by Tolkien, a very long one that I know by heart...
Look it up on teh intertubes...
Ok, taking off Nerd Hat...
