I have a YA historical fantasy that I'm kind of feeling right now. Maybe that will be the one. It takes place in Victorian England!

Dana, I'm only a quarter of the way into Daughter of Smoke & Bone, but I am really enjoying it. Wholly original. I have Lips Touch. I think I read the first story but need to read the others. Fantasy is my area also, but I think sometimes I should read more contemporary stuff. I may be the only YA writer in the world who has never read John Green.Ronald L. It consists of three short stories that will blow your mind. Her writing also makes me sad, because I think omg, I will never be this amazing. Ha. But I'm not a fantasy writer so I try not to beat myself up TOO much. ;)Dana Elmendorfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07130309062939542854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4120156474819730267.post-79122752356992465042013-11-14T18:31:27.567-06:002013-11-14T18:31:27.567-06:00Ron, your second week of What's Up Wednesdayin...Ron, your second week of What's Up Wednesdaying, well done. I was just thinking the same thing about deciding which project to pursue, and how to pursue it, and so on. There are so many factors and choices that go into landing on a manuscript you can stick it out with. Hope you land on the right set of factors soon!

Also, i have The Daughter of Shadow and Bone as well and really need to read it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06797502404162610911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4120156474819730267.post-68340994274865707022013-11-14T17:09:32.188-06:002013-11-14T17:09:32.188-06:00Thanks, Miss Cole. So much so that I did read the sequel and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good luck with the writing. And choosing that next project! Usually I have six or so ideas on the backburner and just choose the one that burns brighter when I'm ready to write something new.Alison Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12179538085536841348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4120156474819730267.post-62944037281282916412013-11-13T16:31:45.212-06:002013-11-13T16:31:45.212-06:00There is nothing more inspiring than reading the w...There is nothing more inspiring than reading the work of a really talented author.
